Yes I know I can go stream it on like 5 different apps but I’m old school and like being able to easily flip between multiple channels and check the score etc

And you can do exactly this with those 5 different apps

DirecTV was such a great product at inception. I was an early subscriber and loved that shite for 15 of the 20 years I had it. It went downhill steadily fast to the point that even Comcast/Xfinity (the company they had been bending over for years) had a better interface, DVR, and remote. The only thing that kept me hanging on with them at the end were the wireless secondary location boxes. AT&T absolutely gutted that company.

Switched to YouTub3 TV about 2 months ago after being a DTV customer for probably 15 years. No regrets

It's a huge pita dealing with them now.

They've separately the billing from att and the att payment app hasn't worked properly for wireless or DirecTV in months

Yep, in Little Rock been without Fox for months and lost NBC this summer. Using an antenna for those as needed but pita with football starting up.
The problem is ATT/Direct vs Sinclair and Nexstar dispute over contracts. I think between them they own over 300 tv stations nationwide but the specific network stations owned vary by location.
