ARREST FOR THEFT OF ELECTRIC SHOPPING CART
Col. Terry Daigre, Chief Criminal Deputy, reports that a Denham Springs man was arrested Sunday, Nov. 3rd 2019 after removing an electric-powered shopping cart from Walmart on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Houma, and driving it to a bar located more than half a mile away from the store.
A Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched at about 12:26 a.m. to the bar, located on Corporate Drive, in response to a complaint that an individual had arrived there driving the cart. The deputy saw the cart, of the type made available for people with disabilities, parked between two cars in the bar’s parking lot.
The deputy made contact with a security guard at the bar and with Brice Kendell Williams, 32, who was accused of driving the cart. During his investigation the deputy learned that Williams had claimed he was at a different bar and believed he could get charged with DWI if he drove his own vehicle to the one on Corporate Drive, causing him to remove the cart from Walmart’s property.
Brice Kendell Williams was booked on a charge of unauthorized use of a moveable, which is a felony. His bond was set at $2500.00.

well, that's an awfully vague title to a thread.
