re: Dave Chapelle or Chris Rock, who's funnier?

The Chappelle Show, as good as it was, is incredibly overrated by most. I recently started to rewatch the series and I forgot how often his sketches would miss. Sure there are some all time classics, but they are often few and far between. As sacrilegious as it seems, it is no better or worse than Key and Peele.

The best thing that ever happened to the Chappelle Show was Daves early retirement. He went out on top, and as a result people have built up nostalgia for the show and remember it being funnier than it really was.

Just to reiterate, I loved the Chappelle Show, but it isn't as good as people remember it, and while I believe Chappelle is funnier than Rock, to say it "isn't close" is asinine.
