i was partial to the Orion HCCA series amplifiers. Particularly the HCCA250 Red series.

I use to have two of those. I ended up selling both on Ebay. I miss them though. Best Amps I have ever seen was those red series.

Yup, loved it. Only issue was the cooling fans..damn thing was incredibly loud.

PPI amp is what ran my mids and highs. Loved those amps. I ended up switching everything to Kicker products... Only b/c the shop I was working at the time was pushing them hardcore. I loved Kicker subs and ran them all XPL's, Solo's all good solid subs. Amps left a bit to be desired though.

Remember the small Blade amps they used to sell there alongside the Senturion amps? What was that cool black guy that worked there forever then moved on to Kirks?

Possibly. I mean I knew guys at every shop in and around BR. I probably would remember his face before a name.

Most of the work I had done was by Innovative (also worked there)
and had a complete build at a short lived shop on Florida blvd in Denham (its a Farrell-Calhoun Paint store now)

Yeah, I think the decision for them to branch out into home audio is what kept their doors open.

I second Sound Advice. Ask for Rick. Owners son. They do all of LSUs A/V stuff.
Tell him his ER doctor friend sent you. He will take care of you.

Also chiming in to recommend Sound Advice.

You used to be able to drop your car off there, then go across the street to eat at the Cajun's Fabulous Fried Chicken all-you-can-eat buffet to knock out your munchies and kill time while they did work. That always made for a damn good day.
