Navajo . . . I maybe joining this thread a bit late but take some unsolicited advice from an environmental engineer.

If you want to do "environmental engineering" change your major to either Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering with a strong emphasis on chemical.

A Chem E or Civil Engineer with water resource background will have more opportunities than an environmental engineer and demand more money.

Essentially Environmental Engineer is is overlap b/w these two disciplines labeled as the shite no one else wants to do.

Yeah, they'll be fine. 200 new platforms slated to be built over the next 6 years.
