Would love to, but i think it’s too late. Take away their benefits they’re just going to resort to more crime and mischief.

In the 80s high school kids reroofed houses in the summer. A couple of years ago i offered my son’s 11th grade friends a job helping me with a small construction project, none would do it. Now they’ll work in food service, but not outside manual labor.

I fear we’ve jumped the shark, there’s no going back.

I don’t mean everyone, but most. There’s still a few good people around who will work hard, but that number shrinks every day.
