Easy solution…..shut the water off at the valve and throw the power switch. They will pay everything they owe in one day!

Corpus has always been suffering from drought like conditions so why are they just realizing this is a problem. It seems like the city should’ve been discussing this 2 decades ago.
True. I want to say that when I was in HS about 25 years ago, we had severe restrictions. It wasn’t this bad though.

It’s been raining its arse off in Texas. I got to think the city got some relief.
Yup. Funny part is, this will just make the decision makers procrastinate even more. I’m not really sure they understand the ramifications. If the lakes run dry, you essentially go into a mode where there are lines for water distribution, like the shite you saw in Flint, MI. That impacts every business, home, and school. How can you operate a school when you can’t flush a toilet?

Assuming a metro population of about 450,000, that would be almost 200 gallons per person per day. That seems like a lot.
I think on average, 100 gallons per day is typical per person. One or two showers per day. Teeth brushing. Toilet flushing. Dishwashing. Clothes washing.
The total is also including commercial businesses as well.
Pijt being that what the ai data center uses is a drop in the bucket compared to total usage.
