That's not the specific development I was referring to, but perhaps it is structured in a similar manner.

I think he's referring to the section 8 row house looking properties near home depot and along Earhart near Claiborne.

No one has put a halt on new subdivisions either.

Ascension has enough problems. Stop putting out false information. The apartments were approved under the Tommy Martinez regime and his right hand man Chris Loar who was Councilman of this district at the time.

Need to do more research on manchac lakes but Silver oaks at Germany toad is definitely a PUD. And I'm sorry. You're right. They haven't halted subdivisions. Just put a 3 year limit on newly acquired property before it can be split into lots for non family members. Which effectively stops developers from coming in and buying land for the sole purpose of splitting it into a subdivision.

This will adversely affect Carriagewood Estates and all those Hoo Shoo Too neighborhoods.

I agree it's not a good thing but I think the projects on Jefferson already did all the damage...

Section 8 housing is a terrible waste of that commercial property. Being residential it will probably also adversely affect the zoning of the adjoining lots and their use for real commercial businesses.
