I once got San Antonio from BR
Evidently there was some atmospheric condition that day deflecting the UHF signals downward. I got a channel on almost every station. Fort Meyers, Brownsville, Houston, Corpus, Jackson, it was like a precursor of having YouTube.
Didn’t do anything to the VHF reception.
Lasted about a half an hour.

Had to miss the first half hour of the Dukes of Hazard on CBS so my Dad could watch Wall Street Week on PBS every Friday night.
