I only had Robin's Nest in Arabi by Carolyn Park Playground but the one by Rebel was the shite. Always loaded you down with syrup. However, if you didn't buy your freezies from some ladies garage you weren't living my friend.

had to knock on the back door at some house on evangeline. went up to $.50 from $.25 one summer. fricking inflation.

Best snoball stand used to be Chilly Willies across from Ponstien's, with the goats. You could feed them your napkins and cups after you were finished.

You could always tell when you were getting old inventory too, the freezie would have the gelatin crap on the top

we would go to mutts after football practice during those wonderful august 2 a days and get a roast beef po boy and then go back to practice in the evening and get sick as dogs
