Car AC question

Blows hot air when on fan only. Hotter than outside temp. AC still blows cool. Why is it so hot?

It's always the capacitor.

Likely. This can be a pricey repair on some vehicles. $400-$800. Others are really cheap. Good luck.

It's 20 bucks on my sierra. It typically goes out at least once per summer.

This is the answer...some are very easy to adjust...some are driven by a small motor (that is a piece of crap) that will need to be replaced...

look for a youtube video on the issue...

no problem....there will be a hell of a difference in the performance of your AC once you get that fixed, too.
