I did not suggest it was your fault. I suggested that you are irresponsible for not having enough money in savings to cover one missed paycheck.

Another TD poster who is perfectly secure and dings others who does not meet arbitrary standards.
It's their money. They have more than a reasonable expectation of getting it and being upset when they don't get it. So they shouldn't be mad if they have your standard of 6 mos. Yeah, just pay me when you get around to it.....maybe next week or weekend.....you know what, how about next month, I'm good.
