Can anyone tell me the story of the Pineville (I think) high schooler murdered

I heard a story about a pineville or Alexandria girl who was murdered years ago by a kid who had a crush on her and was living in the walls of her house and other weird stuff. Is this true?

it was a mercy killing because she lived in Pineville

Believe it was mid 80's in Timber Trails subdivision in Tioga.
Living in her walls?? No. Basically an obsessed kid hid in her closet one night and killed her while her family was downstairs.

Soooo...i hardly ever post but this one got my attention. Connie was a pretty amazing girl...in fact was to be my prom date. She was murdered the week before after leaving a party we were at. Never thought a few hours later we would be mourning her death.
