I remember there was a huge thread years ago about a poster who was a former car salesman, and he posted all his “secret tips of the trade” when buying a car. I couldn’t find it in the search. Does anyone have any reference to it? Thanks in advance!

Only useful if you’re buying a shite car no one is buying. Doesn’t work on a Tahoe or other popular vehicle.
Look up delivrd on YouTube. People pay the guy $1k to negotiate deals. He posts videos and tips.
