Dealing drugs in college was kinder and gentler in my day. The guy who rented the house next to us was the pot source for most of the greeks. Once every other week a rented car from Louisiana would appear and driop off something and within an hour there were two dozen folks coming for pickup. Nice guy, business major obviously. He seldom drank but one night after some tequila he said he did not keep guns around because if he ever got caught the charges would be harder to make a deal on as he had no priors. If he got robbed, he got robbed. He had no plans for a shootout.

SAE handled the cocaine on campus. The founding chapter was at Bama and shut down for a few years after they were busted.
