Mainly just the filler trash seed. Get black oil sunflower seed and it won’t only provide less to the squirrels, the feeder will stay full longer.

I win this one every day with one of these cones. As long as you don’t have a tree branch nearby overhead, they will not be able to climb up a pole and past one of these.
