Every whipping from my Dad always ended the same way, no matter how pissed off he was... with a hug and an "I love you, son."

This was another occasion where I was whipped until I puked, then whipped again for puking.

My dad walked in the room, lifted me up off the floor by the neck (dude is still VERY strong), stood me up, then rammed my head into the wall until it went through it (cheap thin wood).

We stood by the mirror where he held me by my neck while wetting my hair and using a brush that he was hitting me with to fix my hair a different way. I choked out and fell on the floor.

When I was about 12, I went off riding my bike for about 5 or 6 hours without telling anyone where I was going or when I would be back. I deserved punishment.

I was tall and lanky with pretty powerful legs because I ran track. My dad is not a big guy at all.

When I got home I was told to go to my room and I knew what was coming. I decided to take a stand, but being 12 it was a chickenshit stand. My dad came in and told me to bend over with my hands on the bed and I told him no...I was too old for that. We went back and forth a few times and finally he forced me down. He was standing awkwardly and when the first blow came down it didnt have much force. I mule kicked and connected with him square in the babymakers.

He went to the floor and as he was rolling around red faced and cussing, I said "I told you I was too old" and walked out of the room.

I was expecting to be killed as soon as he got up, but he never did. He and my mom took everything away from me out of my room and left a mattress. I spent six weeks like that and never saw the outside or tv for the same.

I should have taken the beating.

I was 13, and already grounded for doing some stupid shite. It was close to the 4th of July, and I had a bunch of fireworks. Since I couldn't go outside to play, I had the great idea to shoot them out the window of my upstairs bedroom. My damn next door neighbor came over and ratted me out....didnt turn out to well for me that day...never forgave that neighbor, what a dick !

My mother always inflicted the physical punishment. My dad never laid a hand on me, but i was always way more scared of my dad finding out I screwed up.

Around 13 or 14, my mother tried to hit me and I caught her arms and told her that she’s never to touch me like that again.

She never did and I honestly treated her like crap until I left for college. I think the hitting had something to do with it

The worst was when I was about 5 or 6 and we were at Teche lighting in Lafayette looking for fixtures as we were adding on to the house. I kept climbing up the ladders for the employees to reach the top shelves and touching everything possible.

After many warnings my dad finally picked me up under the armpit with one hand and carried me to car. He then opened the front and passenger doors and put me between them and beat the shite out of me. Once he was done he locked me in the car and went back to finish the shopping.

That has been almost 25 years ago and I still remember it vividly.

My mom was never the enforcer but she had her ways. it mostly involved liquid soap and my foul mouth but when a beating was in order she'd wait for my dad to get home to tell him what I did so it he could have fresh anger and storm in my room like a bat outta hell.
