I was fishing by a pond once and saw one take a cicada. Scared the shat out of me when I heard the noise. I couldn't believe how big and loud they were. Dragged that cicada off into the woods. Was a pretty cool thing to see.

Here are some updated pics. Went back and found the bastard still there. Picked him up with a planting shovel that has inches marked, apparently he’s an inch long, I vastly over estimated his length when he was flying around me but I wasn’t gonna stick around to get a good look. Anyway, maybe these pics will help.
