That's what I think too. Great self defense move to teach people. However I think the move your talking about can kill someone if they are hit too hard or at the wrong angle.
It can drive the bridge of their nose thru their nasal cavity and into the frontal lobe of the brain.

My senior year of high school I got into a brawl with another kid, messed his face up pretty good with my class ring. Fast forward 18 months and we are pretty good friends, it's the summer after his high school graduation and he gets killed in a car wreck. I've never forgiven myself for fighting him, it shouldn't have happened and I never told him how I felt about it.

quote:

I punched a girl when I was in 3rd grade because she was making fun of me. My dad had told me before that if I came home crying again about someone calling me names without handling it myself (fighting if need be) then he would give me something to really cry about. So, I asked her to stop, she didn't, so i punched her in the face and busted her lip. She cried to a teacher, they called my dad and when he got me home he gave me the worst spanking I ever got from him. Then he said "Damn it (HJJ). I thought you had enough sense to know I didn't mean hit a girl"

I was so mad that I almost threw him under the bus when my mom asked why I would ever hit someone.

That is funny as shite. Same thing almost happened to me. My dad always told me the same as yours. I was in 2nd grade and this 4th grade girl was arguing with me. Next thing I know she pushes me up against a wall twice. I clinch my fist and I'm lining her up for the money shot. She turns and walk away literally seconds before I punch. I'm thankful I never hit her and should have known better back then.

In Jr High, this one guy - he was decently tough but a complete dumbass. I guess it must have been some kind of pecking order thing or maybe others goaded us into fighting, can barely recall the reason, but I cleaned his clock pretty good. Then a couple weeks later he's fricking with me again. I'm thinking "were you there when I beat your arse couple weeks ago?!?" Busted him up again. Months later at a party, he's bowing up to me. I said "dude, what do you not get? I'm just gonna kick your arse again, get the frick outta here". He left.

Felt bad because he came from a rough home and was a dumbass. I literally got sick of beating his arse, but it guess he won in a way.
