again one has nothing to do with the other. In cases where there have been a serial rapist the police never issued a warning saying "Hey there is a serial rapist in this area, you should avoid the area, unless you dress modestly in which case you should be fine"
Read or listen to any interview with a child rapist that the child or family knew. A majority of the time that made them snap is the outfit or make up.
Many “serial rapists” or opportunistic rapists rape because they see something that fits what they want. If that be blonde, make up, or just an outfit.
Now do I agree we should limit females to what they wear? No. But I for one wouldn’t dress like that knowing what certain men are capable of.

I get this and understand it.
The problem I have is the first question we should be asking if a rape occurs isn't "Well, what was she wearing" or our first preventive measure in preventing it be suggesting that someone dresses more modestly.
Offer real solutions. Trying not to go out at night alone. Avoid high crime areas. Avoid unlit areas, carry protective spray, noise makers to alert people, even guns if you know how to use one.
Not wear a turtleneck bitch.

First off your analogies are idiotic
The analogies work fine. Bad things happen. You don’t blame the victim, but sometimes there are things a victim can do to try and reduce the chance of that bad thing happening.
quote:
Women raped aren't always happening in high crime areas which is your first analogy.
If bad people didn’t live in the ghetto, we could walk through it safely at night. If sex criminals didn’t live in our world, women wouldn’t need to take heed.
quote:
Your second analogy...well I just don't even know what to say the too aren't remotely related
If violent criminals didn’t exist, cops wouldn’t need guns. If sex criminals didn’t exist, women wouldn’t have to take any heed. It’s not complicated.
quote:
the third involves safety in a dangerous device in which collisions are often unavoidable.
If bad drivers didn’t exist, we wouldn’t need seat belts. If sex criminals didn’t exist, women wouldn’t need to take heed.
quote:
There are no people out there that thought well I didn't plan on raping anyone today but they just looked so sexy in that outfit.
You don’t know what sets people (rapists) over the edge. A drunk chick with her arse hanging out might indeed look like a better target for a rapist. Or for another drunk dude to grope her inappropriately, or decide to slip her a mickey. It’s really not a big leap of logic to say men get turned on by scantily clad women. Again, law enforcement does not allow scantily clad women into jails or prisons, for safety reasons.
I like hot chicks in short skirts. But I wouldn’t want my daughter going out to a bar like that, if I had input in the matter.

Sounds like you agree that some rape victims could’ve prevented the crime. You’re coming awfully close to victim blaming here.
