I'm afraid that black people aren't quite as universally solid on this issue as we might hope. The strain-of-thought that says "gay rights are the next civil rights movement" isn't isolated to the white left wing of the Democrat party. There are black people who think this, even old-timers who were in CORE in the 1960s. I lived next door to one.
