My buddy's dog. I consider him to be on the dangerous side of size. He might be the biggest baby I've encountered though.

Let me educate some of you on pitbulls.
First off there is no breed called pitbull(look it up) it's any combination of about 9 different bully breeds of dogs including boxer, bulldogs, American Stratford terrier, American bull terrier.
Pitbulls are not mean dogs and have scored higher in temperament test than labs, German shepereds. Also remember you are grouping 9 breeds of dogs and comparing them to other single breeds.
The dogs are abused by humans 1000x more than they have hurt a human. They are some of the nicest and sweet dogs you will ever meet. People allow the media to persuade their view on things. For all of the idiots on here that say they turn mean, you will find that almost 100% of them have never been around a Pit bull or owned one. To those people I find it sad that you are so easily persuaded to think a certain way.
To answer your question op it's NEVER!!!, if you treat the dog correctly, love him and do not abuse them you will find that they are one of the most loyal dogs you can own, which is a trait that is often taken advantage of by ignorant low life individuals who have created a media blood bath because they abuse their animals.
The dog is not the problem. Humans are born hateful, abusive, and evil not these dogs.

Exactly, I have what everyone calls a pitbull, and he loves children more than anything else. Whenever he mets a new child, he follows them around licks them nonstop. Also his best animal friend is a 12 week old cat. Who he lets hit him in the face and chase him around all the time. He just wants someone to play with.
For those of you that ask why I let him around children it is because he loves them and has never once tried to bite, jump on, claw at, or be aggressive one time at a child. I always watch him closely because kids can be mean as shite to dogs even if they hit him he just leaves and comes back to me.
