I'm far from a devout Catholic, and statements like this don't offend me, but it sure is petty.
If you want to eat whatever you'd like, congratulations, but people that attempt to shite on others who are trying to follow a harmless tradition in their religion is pretty weak.
I don't fully understand kosher foods or other religious preparations, but I can't imagine ex-Jews run around flaunting their non-kosher dill pickles.

Martin Luther was a glutton and loved him some beer. Probably was a cool guy to hang out with. Calvin, OTOH, must have had a stick up his arse. Not much admirable about him, TBH.
