Are health insurance companies making out like bandits during all of this?

Fewer doctor's visits.
No elective procedures.
Non-electives being put off.

All while premiums are still being paid.

Small groups cancelling. Fewer people working equals fewer members. Inability to sell Medicare Advantage in person. Yeah they’re doing great

I had an appointment by phone with my PCP today for a visit I had scheduled for months... they called Thursday and asked if I wanted to come in or do it by phone...

If any insurance companies are making out like bandits, I'd say it's the auto insurers.

Yep.

I was thinking about this the other day. It is unreal what is happening to their bank accounts right now.

Yep. What are car insurance companies doing for the people that aren’t paying their premiums?

Geico sent a notice that they would not terminate any policies for late/no payments during the COVID-19 crisis.

I bet the notice said nothing about rates not going up afterwards.
