Let's start here. Why not disband the use of such offensive symbology? Why allow a genocidal slave holding president to be prominently displayed in front of a Catholic Church built by slaves so the church could sell more slaves?
Surely that can't be any less offensive than a monument built in the 1884 to commemorate a dead Confederate general. How many slaves built that statue?
