I just wish it didn't take so damn long to update things on your base. I'm currently a level 97 TH9 with three builders. I've got one builder with 6 days left updating a Tesla to level 7, another builder upgrading another Tesla to level 7 that's got 3 days 5 hours left, and my last builder has just under 6 days left upgrading an air defense to level 7. I'm fine with upgrades at this level being expensive. But damn, do they really have to take this damn long?!?!

The gem boost will go away as soon as they roll out the new update.. Which is supposedly coming next week.

They kept the gem boost going because people were mad af and quitting the game.
eta: And yes get those 5 builders. Best way to spend gems.

Sound advice. I've got all 5 and when I first transitioned to TH10 I kept them all busy.
Now that all my defenses are maxed, only thing left for them to do is walls and heros..

Guess I'll look into doing this. I've made it this far in the game without spending a dime. But I can see how having 5 builders would be a big advantage.

you can get gems from moving up in the leagues, too
that's how I got one of the builders, spent 5 dollars to get other builder and gems...that's it...definitely gotten a lot out of it

No. I'm the leader of another Clan. It's mainly my friends that started playing before me, a group from here and some other randoms we've picked up along the way.

First thing I did was max out builders. Now only thing I spend gems on is 1 week shields, and of course, special boosts like what's going on now.

I was in Masters when the big update came. After that I shed trophies like they were diseased and now I'm in Gold I and getting close to Crystal III. Think I'll just drop a few bucks and get the last two builders the easy way.
ETA: And I hate to say it, but my clan is just not what it use to be before the update. Wars are rare and now it's getting hard to either donate troops or get donations. Think my clan is slowly dying. I've had a troop request out for almost an hour and got nothing. This is becoming the norm where it takes hours to fill up my CC.

In TDWar you're expected to opt out if AQ is down....a lot of us gem the time for this...allows constant warring which is the fun part of the game imo.
BK down is permissible in most cases, but you may need to hit kinda low.
Hero upgrades above 20 are always 7 days, btw (999 gems for the full time)

I hate to leave my clan. I've been with them a long time. but I am thinking it's time to move on. Which TD clan do you recommend? I'm good for doing wars, but not on a constant basis. Maybe like twice a week or something along those lines.
