I am considering taking this exam (BD+C) and am curious what to hear about people's experiences.
Was it difficult?
How did you study for it?
Was it worth it?
Thanks

Yes.
Need to get Green Associate first. That test is fairly easy.
The BD+C required way more studying.

Yep
Not really. The GA portion of the test (multiple choice) is pretty easy if you study. The word problem/calculation portion is harder but doable. I'm not an A/E so it was harder for me than someone with a design/engineering background.
Took an online prep class that my company offered. Basically read a study guide and went through powerpoint slides.
To me, yes as my credential now helps my firm win work. But the LEED movement in totem is not taking off like a lot of people thought. There are a lot of life cycle cost/energy savings questions being raised but all in all I'd say its worth it.
