Used to ride my bike to Raymer’s before I was old enough to drive back in the day

I called the number on the general contractor and asked. They said it was gonna be a nail salon.

Yay. Just what we needed there. I mean, everybody knows that 2 existing nail salons within a one block radius just isn’t getting it done.

How run-down is that Cirlce K gas station across the street? Once you cross Bluebonnet, Jefferson isn’t as nice looking as it is from Essen to Old Hammond.

It's not too bad. I stop in there occasionally. Some of those apartments aren't what they used to be. I lived in Jefferson Arms after college for a bit.

It’s become increasingly bad. It services the slum tenement across Floynell from it and lushes from The Jefferson, so that’s to be expected.

I wonder about the condition of all those townhomes/apartments across the street from that gas station over the next 5-10 years. A lot were built in late 70’s and 80’s.

Unfortunately they will probably suffer the same fate as most old apartments do in BR. That's why I don't care to live too near any apartment complexes

That Circle K is fine, most gas station liquor stores are going to be much worse than that one. There is a Circle K corporate office connected to it so I’m guessing that is why it’s genrally clean, well stocked, and well staffed.
