I enjoy the sport because of the lack of goals scored. Sure it sucks when a tie happens but the suspense of shots that are just off or bounce off the posts are awesome. Then you've got goals scored in stoppage time or through crazy headers and it gets even more interesting. Now if you compare that to something like basketball where there's points left and right and fouling like no other in the last two minutes and you've got a total snooze fest in my opinion.

Murica is playing Ghana Monday and I can't wait...Even though Klinnsman says the team has no chance this year.

I would let love to see any of you idiots try and control the ball with your feet and I am sure the hilarity will ensue.

that is Just The beauty of the game, using your feet which is the least used appendage your body.

All of you dumbasses get stuck up in American football point scoring systems, where a touchdown of six points, felid goal is three....blah blah blah. When in reality there have been a countless "awesome" NFL scores which are 21-7 which is the soccer equivalent of 3-1.

I find it funny that so many people think football is always so exciting. I have watched countless football games where a team didn't score for 45 minutes and I had to sit thought 30 min of commercials.

There are many entertaining things to watch in football besides scoring. A big hit tackle, great catch or throw for a completion, turnovers, elusive runs...

I don't find it boring, all the matches so far have been great. Yes I get pissed when I wake up early in a Saturday to watch my team tie, but that's the same as spending several hours on Saturday to watch lsu lose. I'm mad because my team didn't win.

I love football, but I could care less if 2 big 10 teams are playing, can't watch. Also I'm not tuning in to watch Jacksonville play buffalo, I wouldn't waste my time. Only baseball I watch is LSU. I'm a big braves fan, but I'm not tuning in to 100+ games. I just check the box scores. Don't like the NBA, its a dragged out scoring fest, same thing back and forth. If u were allowed to play defense the games actually might be more exciting. No I don't want to see a team take 30+ free throws, what a joke.

Soccer is a world sport, incredibly hard to be good at. Once the half starts its up yo the players to make the game to think for themselves. Since goals are hard to come by, it makes them that much better, similar to the hr in college baseball now. All summer ling you see baseball highlights of dudes making diving catches, soccer goalies do this multiple times a game every game.

You also won't find a guy that starts playing when he's over 20 and becomes the best at his position like jimmy Graham. Its just not possible. Football the players are told what to do on every play.

It would be if I watched it. On the other hand I'm sure it wouldn't be boring if I gave it the same attention I give football.

My only personal objection to it is we were born with arms and hands. I think they should be used in some way.
