re: Anybody else stuck at IAH due to thunderstorms?

I was stuck there for three days one time when a hail storm hit Dallas. I was on an American flight and all their planes got hit by hail and had to be inspected before being put back into service. I ran back to the rental car counter as I had just turned in a car, they said no cars available.

Got a hotel room at the local Springhill suite, evidently so did a lot of oilfield bass as they stayed up all night drinking beer from the convenience store close by and started again promptly at 9:00am the next morning out by the pool. My room was right next to the pool, I felt really good about my health and body after watching them for a few days cannonball into the pool.

I can't believe I just typed all that
