Any LSUHSC employees?

One of my co-workers is applying for positions at LSUHSC. She's applied for about 5, hasn't heard anything at all. (Their "application" is kind of weird, apparently no actual application..you just e-mail a cover letter and resume in to an address)
Anyways today she got a request to complete disclosure documents regarding disability, race, gender, etc., it said "for position no. xxx"
Does this mean that she is being considered for this particular position, but none of the others she applied for? Is this a hint that she may be called for an interview?
This hiring process seems really odd to me.
LSU didn't ask race/gender/disability questions, or at least not that I remember.
I told her it is probably a waste of time because their hiring seems backward, but wanted to see what the OT thinks...
thanks.

The entire LSU system is fricked in the way they perform the hiring process. Each department and campus has it's own preference and in most cases, the law gets danced upon. I'd say your wife is about to get an interview if they asked her to do follow-up work.

I didn't think they could ask for gender, race and disability without an interview one maybe not until you are hired. Very strange.

Agreed, the process seems backwards sometimes, and takes forever.
