I’m asking wether they need to provide you with that reasonable suspicion for identification? The answer appears to be no.

You keep saying she only said something about the gun but the police report says he jwalked.

Does she not have a right to ask for ID because she didn’t mention jwalking?



i mean you keep harping on this like it wasnt something added after the fact. just because they can make something up later doesnt excuse their behavior.

I’d be curious to know whether a court would find that she had reasonable discretion to think that was a gun. I’m sure there would be deference to the officer in this situation but still. Seems absurd. I bet there is more to this story.

honestly there's probably not more to the story than the video... cops didnt like being called a tyrant so they acted like a tyrant to punish the man for offending them and their profession.
