Testosterone converts to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT causes hair loss. Hair loss products, like Finasteride, block DHT. If testosterone doesn’t convert to DHT, you may actually have a slight increase in T. It’s a false assumption that you are lowering your T; you are blocking DHT.
