Sorry to add to the growing number of car buying threads but I was hoping for some OT truck baw help.

Looking to possibly (still in the research phase) buy a GMC 2500 SLT. I want to get a barely used one, and it looks like these trucks (like almost all in the size class) hold value well. What could I expect to get as a reduction on one of these. $3-5k? More? Less?

Thanks and should I purchase I will put a pair of truck nuts with an O on one nut and a T on the other in recognition of the OT truck baws help.

I think there's a lightly used one in a parking lot in New Orleans East. You might need to have a key made

Worst possible decision for domestic trucks. Go new or go at least 3 years old.

Fair enough. If I went 3 years, what could I expect to haggle off of the asking?

That answer depends on a million factors. Could be nothing, could be $10k. Not being a smart arse btw.

I agree with lunch. The barely used ones sell almost as much as a new one. I assume that GMC will be updated with the Silverado which would be a great time to shop. I always try to buy during the model year closeouts.
