unfortunately, i did not. that would've been OT gold though.
eta: i swapped the relays from the horn to the a/c spot and vice versa. my horn still works.

99 with the 350 or the 5.3?
My 350 ac clutch was getting weak. The magnet wouldn't pull the clutch in. I was able to move the clutch closer to the compressor using YouTube and it worked for another year and a half was was working when I sold it.
Some compressors have shims you can remove once you pull the clutch off and allows it to move closer to the compressor and the magnetic pickup.

Your compressor kit runs only $160-$240 on RockAuto. Depending on your budget.
Youtube videos are out there.
Then maybe $130 for a shop to pull a 2 hour vacuum and recharge the system.

just got a call from the shop.
the freaking belt tensioner was problem. the belt wasn't tight enough to engage the clutch. he calls me after he fixes it.
$217 for parts/labor/vacuum/freon. oh well, at least it's fixed. i'm just peeved that i could've replaced the tensioner myself.

Check the A/C clutch coil.
