AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Thread: Mexican Viking Edition

Perhaps the tensions between AEW & AAA have cooled some considering tonight's main event is a dream match involving the AAA Mega Champion.

Of course... you'll remember that 2022 ended with AAA stripping Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship due to missing shows with the final straw being a missed PPV-level show b/c AEW called them back for a Dynamite episode where Melo was in an inconsequential tag team match and Guevara wasn't used at all.

Later that same night...FTR lost the AAA World Tag Team Championship to Los Hermanos Lee only to find out that AAA was allowing Dragon Lee to beat AEW talent right after signing a WWE contract as Dragon Lee announced immediately after the match they were vacating the titles and he was heading to NXT. FWIW... the AAA Tag Team Championship is still vacant nearly 3 months after this incident.

Best wishes in recovery for Danhausen who had surgery for a torn pectoral muscle suffered at Revolution.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite comes from the Cable Dahmer Arena in the Kansas City suburb of Independence, Mo.

As noted above... we get the international dream match of Kenny Omega against AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo

As we near his return to the ring... we get story time with Adam Cole (BAY-BAY)

Jon Moxley takes on Dark Order's #2 Stu Grayson in Grayson's 1st singles match back in AEW (I guess he's fully back now?)

HOOK takes on Stokely Hathaway in a no disqualification match... and shenanigans will be abound in that match

Toni Storm and her bodacious booty takes on Skye Blue and her not as bodacious booty

The AEW World Tag Team Championship is on the line tonight as The As... The Gunns defend against Top Flight

And in a trios match... Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin, & Sting team up against Kip Sabian, Butcher, & The Blade
