Anyone with a textbook or access to the internet knows way frickin more than you.
Of course, those "academics" are so evil...eh?

Despite the increase in domestic production and employment, the costs of these 2018 tariffs are substantial: in a partial equilibrium setting, we estimate increased annual consumer costs of around $1.5 billion, or roughly $820,000 per job created.

No, you literaly dont understand what you quoted.
Youve proven that economic data is your kryptonite.
Youve proven that economic data is your kryptonite.

We are a ways before seeing what that bill does. Economic lag is a thing
what youre going to see several months from now is rising inflation.
Inflation lags, and is going to kick our arse again.

Youve proven many times over that..
a) You dont have the capacity to understand
b) Youre hopelessly addicted to Donny speak and think every thing he says is right.
I'm kinda thinking its a combo of both. No rational objective information will sway you.

Blah blah blah. Still no pointing out where your article you posted that I quoted is wrong. Telling…

The economy is still fricked up from the shutdowns and monetary policy of the covid years.
This is a valid point. The US has recovered better than a lot of the planet has but tossing trillions of dollars into an economy that was already blistering hot is going to cause a pile of unforeseen circumstances that may take a LONG time to get straight if it ever does. Our "leaders" at the time collectively lost their minds regardless of party or what office they were in.

What does your article say?

You posted an article based on the title but did not read it. All I did was quote your article. Now you’re mad that you were too stupid to not read through your own sources, so now you are scrambling for any source that also suffers from TDS.
Might I suggest Rachel Maddow.

What does your article say?
I see you dont want to discuss it.
Remember when Obamas steel tariffs cost 900k per job and the Poli Board was livid? I see you are a hypocrite now.
You do realize you can fact check all the economic info i have posted in the past, and you dont have to take Trumps word for it.
Everything is easily verifiable in 15 minutes, yet you choose to believe that these Tariffs are going to save your life, only because "Trump said."

I absolutely did. You simply dont understand it.

The logical conclusion is that, at least through July 2025, US firms were absorbing most of the tariff burden through compressed spread
Its draining the US economy, slick.

I have, a million times.
Its simply redistributing income to large corporations and govt.
It will destroy small to medium business.

That was mentioned in 1 sentence, not the overall tone of the article. Again, I quoted the article and you are adamant that what I quoted didn’t happen because it doesn’t agree with your misinformed opinion. Drive on bus man.

That was mentioned in 1 sentence,
Youre fumbling around trying to make income redistribution a good thing.
I said in 2016 that Trump would drag stupid people into progressivism.
I was dead on, progressive. You people side with Sanders and AOC on economics more than you do Milton Friedman.
Trumps tariffs are not paid by the Chinese. They are paid by US corporations, small businesses and the consumer.
