A fan relay inside the unit in the house. Had the same problem a couple months ago.

op needs to go get his own if he has a refrigeration supply house anywhere close to where he lives. He have us an ACME off Amite church road in Denham. That's where i get all my AC parts from.

Stuck fan relay or bad stat, you can disconnect the green wire from your stat and see if the fan stops.

In all seriousness, check the capacitor. I had a similar instance and replaced mine for 20$. Very easy to do. YouTube it.

Edit: my apologies, my AC would not turn on. Opposit of your situation.
