This kid loved the garbage men. He finally got to meet them and was overwhelmed.

I remember a kid in my class at Punahou School in Hawaii whose mother told him he could invite anyone he wanted to his birthday party. He invited everyone in our class plus the garbage men LOL. They came too - two big Hawaiian guys with hearts of gold.

However, I suspect it is because no one seems to give a rat's butt about an uplifting thread. It it was a post about some racial fight, it would get a ton of comments.
