Has Sean Payton or Loomis ever been involved in a trade back? I know someone will try to give me shite for not remembering the Saints trading back from the 6th to the 7th 5 years ago or something, but give me a fricking break. How about a 1st back?

I don't see it happening unless Minny or SF gives up a lot and I don't know if they'll do that for a 15.

If Austin falls to us it could very well happen, but only if "our guy" is gone.

Yeah, I just wonder if it's something they would do. I hope so. Outside of the names we talk about on here all the time (if they fall), I hope the Saints do trade back.

Things would have to happen just right in my opinion. Like a side, their "guy" isn't their anymore or they receive an offer that's too good to pass up.

If we land Nnamdi, I would love to pick-up Austin.

Me neither, but I was pissed our inept offense had to settle for a FG.

I think it was 1986. We traded from #4 to #6 and picked up Jim Dombrowski.

Just thought I'd answer the question.

Every year fans want to trade down, and it never happens, but theres a good chance we could this year. I dont see the Rams (16) passing on Austin. So a team like SF (who is loaded with picks, and no real deep threat), or Minny (2 1sts and need a Harvin replacement) know that if they want Austin, #15 is where they have to get him.

I'd really hate to make the trade with SF, becauee they would be damn near unstoppable with a player like Austin.

Damn, that's a long time. I don't think they will this year either. It would pretty exciting if the Saints did land Nnamdi after getting Butler, as 15 could literally be BPA.

I hate the fricking 9ers. Ruined the good Saints teams in our division and now fricking us up again

I'm right there with you. frick the 9ers and their prick of a head coach! I hope Sean trades with another team just to shite in that 49er nest!

Everybody is worried about SF being unstoppable for years but am I the only one who thinks Kaepernick is a one hit wonder type of player....it's only a matter of time before everyone figures out how to stop the read option and then the team's with pure pocket passers will be left.

Why would San Fran take Austin? They have Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree and Anquan Bolden. And they have their scat back in LaMichael James.

With the loss of Goldson, I think they stay put and get Elam or Reid.
