What is the NFL stance on player safety now after the violent hit on Lewis?

The refs didn't call P.I. and didn't call helmet to helmet or face guarding. If Lewis would have been seriously injured like Ryan Shazier I wonder what statement they would have come up with.

They wouldn’t have said shite, just like they are all silent right now. They want to just push it under the rug in hope everyone forgets about it. It’s our job to make sure no one forgets about it.

Let's not forget the helmet to helmet no call on Hill. The flags couldn't be thrown enough during preseason and once the season started it's like they told them not to throw them. I don't get it!

The game is complete entertainment because the rules are inconsistently and arbitrarily enforced. It's time to face the facts -- we are watching an entertainment product when we watch the NFL. It's only partially competition.

It was exactly the type of violent, dangerous hit that the league claims they are vigorously trying to prevent.

That TLL wasn’t seriously hurt is the only positive that came out of that entire game.
