I don't think he would be welcome back in the league if he turns out to be a bounty hunter AND a liar.
I don't think there would be a lifetime suspension per-se, but he would be toast.
Michael Vick lied with a straight face about running a dog-fighting operation, and then after his (jail time &) league suspension, regained respect from his peers by being voted a Top 20 overall player in 2011.
This is a league of second chances. If Vilma is proven to have lied (which I do not believe will be proven), he will serve his suspension, and easily can regain respect. However, whether he has anything left in the tank at that point is another story.

Wasn't Vilma one of the former Miami players that received improper benefits which included bounties? Is so this would be more like his 3rd chance

Sure, maybe the lawyer is telling the truth...but...if only because a lawyer can grand stand on a radio/tv show and proclaim his client's innocence, everyone here should also blindly think Sandusky is innocent too, because the government hasn't released an evidence besides he said/she said statements to the public to justify the charges.
The evidence on Sandusky went in front of a grand jury before he was charged, and then it was release to the public. We have nothing close to that, and they really don't compare at all.

It'd be his second chance from his second chance.

I don't think we are counting events that transpired before he entered the league
