Davenport snap counts

Not updated for today yet, but he's played 50-64% of the snaps in the last 4 games.

Keep in mind that Hendrickson has passed him on the depth chart, too. Davenport is healthy, but Hendrickson is having a career year so it’s hard to keep him off of the field.

It did seem he played less than usual yesterday, but I still saw him a lot. I'll be curious to see the snaps when they post.

Edit:
Which they did. 30 snaps for 48%. So still in line.

Hendrickson has gotten more the last couple of weeks though. But they are playing Davenport a ton inside, basically rotating him with Onyemata in the Rankins role, or playing both inside on pass rush downs.

It's easier to notice Hendrickson because he's playing outside almost exclusively. But both are getting a ton of snaps.

Edit2:
Hendrickson had 33 snaps for 53%.

So the San Fran game seems to be more an outlier. They are still both playing between 50-65% most games. San Fran was a slight uptick for Hendrickson at 69%.

Davenport is better vs the run than Trey. Trey has a much quicker first step to the QB.
Glad to have them both.

HUGE Davenport fan. He is going to be very special. He's already well on his way.

I also really like what Trey is doing this year in finishing the play.

On is way for what? Come On!! Take TB last year he had 11 tackles 3 sacks. If he wasn't a Saint you would have no clue who he was. If he was so good he play more 46% plays. He is a nfl role player every team has them.
