The NFL is ruined

I don't watch much NFL football anymore, but I was watching the SAints-Giants because my son getting interested in it and playing football himself. After seeing 15 minutes of this ticky-tack, pussyfied targeting and personal foul bullshite calls I see I'm not missing much. I really miss the NFL I used to love watching in 80's and 90's.

Jason you are 100% correct.
the days of Steele,Curtain, purple people eaters, and Dome Patrol are a not so distant memory of true reckless abandoned play. I don't put as much time energy and emotion in to it anymore. It all came crashing down when Godell became commissioner. Remember it's just an entertainment league!!!!

Refs just suck. They cost Denver a td 3 times on 1 drive last night. The NFL needs to find refs that are younger

It’s more than just refs sucking. They’re talking about making the hip drop tackle illegal now. How the hell are you supposed to chase down a player and tackle them?
