On the Cowherd show... Trent Dilfer argued the "Better team lost" statement by saying that if the Vikings were the better team they would do the intangibles that make a great team. The Saints showed that they can do the intangibles, and have the composure of a great team. YES, the Saints offense did not produce like a #1 ranked offense; but they still scored 31 points. YES, the Vikings Offense racked up yards, but the had 5 turnovers and could have had at 3-4 more if the Saints recovered. The Saints did enough to win. When the Saints are healthy, like last night, the Saints are undeafeated this season. Who is the better team? I think the Saints showed that they fear no team, and thrive on pressure. WHODAT!!
THat's well put by dilfer. The "better team" qb threw for 2 picks, should have been a third to greer off of his chest, fumbled a miss handoff. Made critical errors, got his head bashed in all night. Couldn't run the ball in the most critical part of the entire game to get 5 more yards. Made stupid fricking 12th man mistake, put the ball on the ground all game. HOw's that make you better. Saints D played opportunistic and our O was efficient and didn't have its best showing yet still won.
