All 3 wwl radio broadcasters said it skipped. That's good enough for me.

His hands were underneath the ball. It "skipped" off his hands, not the ground

So, you just believe what they say instead of looking for yourself. Based on replays, his hands were clearly under the ball.

All 3 were wrong. They showed it a few times on tv. Even the announcers thought they got the call wrong.

and both broadcast announcers said that they initially thought it skipped until they saw the replay where it was clearly a catch.
