So what is this really about?

We are talking about a "bounty" system that paid millionaires 1k dollars to take out the best players on other teams. 1k dollars. These guys weren't hired guns, they were simply sticking to the game plan. Tell me which qb we "took out" on illegal hits? No body has been able to show one. They keep talking about Warner and Favre but the hit on Warner was perfectly legal and of course we were going to knock the shite out of Favre in the NFC title game. It's common fricking sense.
If this is really about "changing the culture" as the Goodell keeps suggesting then maybe he should tell ESPN to take off the "Got Jacked" segment they do. Maybe they should quit posting big hits on there NFL's on website.
I mean we are talking about football here, not Nancy Kerrigan hit them while they are down. Just sticking to a game plan and knocking the snot out of the opposing team.
This is absolutely no different then getting a few skulls on your helmet in pee-wee for a hard hit.

It is, Goodell has said multiple times he wants to change the culture of the NFL in terms of player safety, even if it means changing the game totally.

Probably 70% the covering up and 30% the new culture being implemented where players can't be hit much.

I'm 100% positive that in 10 years the QB will have a flag.
