I am guessing you are referring to the helmet, I agree 100%.
Without the stripes down the middle, it would look like an Atl ripoff and no one wants that.
Apparently, we wore that helmet during the preseason of 1969. So, there is an historical precedent.

Somebody requested a White/White uni with the 2-color striped pants on the Fark Board. This is what I came up with...
