Forget about ragging on the defense. The offense seems to be problem. I know people talk about how great our offense is but, is it really? I mean when Brees is throwing 40 times a game are we piling up the yards because of avg. per play or just alot of attempts.

Also, it might do this team some good to invest in some receivers. Besides Colston, who we were lucky to be a stud, do we really have anybody? Shockey is a TE but lets stick to WR.

It seems the offense was stalling yesterday because we had nobody else to catch the ball besides Reggie out of the backfield. Meachem has potential I guess but he never sees the field. Lance Moore and Devery look surprised everytime they catch a ball.

I'm just saying, maybe in the offseason it might do the Saints some good to invest in maybe a decent #2 receiver because everytime Colston goes out...our passing game sucks.

If we can't run the ball...we should at least invest in depth at receiver. Do at least one thing right rather then be average at two things.

The running game is atrocious. If we arent ranked dead last, we should be near it. We couldnt get any push at all yesterday.

exactly. we still have held teams to around an average of around 26 points or something.. and you have to consider the shockey fumble and drew brees interception in our own territory. the defense played solid until porter got beat deep. the offense should be breaking 30 points a game..

oh and the guys from PTI were just asking, "why are the saints so bad.."
we are 1-1 and pretty much had that washington game won and lost it late.. it's not like the saints are getting beat down..

The defense when healthy is vastly improved. We just had our top 3 CB's hurt yesterday.

Our offense seems to be the same old crap all the time. Reggie out the backfield. Reggie runs into his left tackle.

Maybe we just need to find some run blocking OL. I know they do a great job pass blocking. Run blocking...no so much. Otherwise we'd pull a Denver and just put anybody in there like they did for a couple years and guarantee 1000.

They just need an overhaul. I'm surprised Brees arm hasnt fell off after last year. He was throwing 50 times a game it seemed at one point.

well like I been saying all along Stinkcomb sucks at pass blocking, put a decent end on his side and Brees is in trouble.

I agree, the defense was going to be in a bind with four starters out, the offense needed to keep them off the field and didn't do it all.

I do. You are looking at a loss this week. Then at 4 losses in the next 6 if they dont work it out on offense and sure up that defense.

Denver, Minnesota, Carolina, and San Diego will punish them.
