No way Hill beats out Hamilton. Hamilton will be a stud. Just watch.

I'm inclined to go with this view.

PJ Hill led the team with 3 TD's in preseason fwiw.

good move. A guy who knows the system well and can add depth. I guess Hamilton is moving to Bell's spot, leaving Hill to take Hamilton's

Guess they really aren't that high on Hamilton?

That doesn't mean much. If he was better than Hamilton, we'd be claiming Hamilton off waivers...that pretty much sums up how Payton felt about it.

Or maybe Hamilton provided more on special teams, which is probably something Payton looks for in a 4th-string RB. I'll say it now, P.J. Hill makes the team this year.

Will Hamilton lose the 12 pounds like Bell did that made him quick off the ball last year?

Maybe, but there is a reason Hamilton was active last year and PJ was on the Practice Squad.

Chad, wouldn't you like to see Hamilton at 228lbs rather than last year's 235-240?

I rather not see him at all. I'd be fine with Pierre and Reggie handling the load.

As I stated in my earlier post, Hamilton provided more on special teams than Hill did. This was kind of a big deal because Mike Bell wasn't going to play ST. They will carry 4 halfbacks, 3 being Thomas, Bush, and Hamilton. Hill will have to compete with this year's crew of UDFA for the 4th spot, but I think there's a reason he was on the PS last year (as opposed to Herb Donaldson) and the team acted with swiftness to get him back when he became available this year.

Nice point. I can't disagree with anything in that post.
